Artist • Milt Wear

MiltMilt Wear resides in Beaverton, Oregon. He is a poet/writer and works in several visual mediums. Upon retirement, Milt rekindled his passion for art with studies at Portland Community College, Studio work at Oregon School of Arts and Crafts, and many workshops with both local national professionals.

Milt has exhibited in numerous venues such as Beaverton Arts Commission, Oregon Society of Artists, Village Gallery of Arts, Elsie Stuhr, United Way Gallery, Golden Gallery, and Belinki and Durey Gallery downtown. During the past four years as director of the The Witness Group, a large collection of professional artists, he has organized and pasticipated in shows in many area churches as well as their full-time galleries.

Currently his major interests have been focused upon helping create programs within area churches, directed at discovering the gifted within the congregations. Milt recognizes the individual and corporate responsiblity of all of us in helping to foster their development.
