Artist • Leila Ball
 Leila grew up in Alaska and then moved to Hawaii to raise a family of five children. She has been a dabbling artist her whole life and, after moving to Bellingham, Washington in 1990, went to Western Washington University and received a B.A. in Art.
Since then, Leila has worked as a successful studio artist in media that includes painting as well as fused glass, polymer clay, fiber sculpture, and enameling. Leila’s art is a paradox. A good news/bad news story. She has the ability to work with multiple media and genres, but the inability to stick to just one. What you see today may not remotely resemble what you would see tomorrow. Her art truly represents a snapshot of “now.”
